Toroidal Head Design Programme
The Toroidal Head Design Programme enables the user to calculate the cylinder head dimensions that will result in the desired Cylinder Head Volume and Spark Plug position.
This is also particularly useful when modifying non-squish type heads to toroidal squish type heads.

Example Output
The image below shows the calculated head volume and the spark plug position with respect to the cylinder head base, for a typical toroidal cylinder head design.
Please note that the squish angle input is with respect to the horizontal plane and differs from the Squish velocity programme where the angle is with respect to the piston crown.
The roof angle input is also with respect to the horizontal plane, and starts at a diameter of 16mm.
